On a third date I got hit by a car on my way home. I forgot most of the date (incl. first kiss) but she visited me in the hospital and while I recovered and when I came out of the haze I was in a relationship. We're married now.
-
I apparently texted her from the hospital but I told her "I'm fine." (No memory of this) She showed up with a little thing of flowers to be cute only to be shown to the ICU and my doped up self. Her first words: "You are NOT fine!! O_O"

I did not want to go to a party. I was at FIU and had a thesis to finish for my graduate degree. Friends dragged me to the party. Hot guy opened the door. We proceeded to talk all night...and let's just say he became my one life stand. He's now my husband for the past 13 years.

"One life stand" is the kind of poetry the English language was made for.

Met the love of my life at 18. At 20, we broke up because he wasn't ready for the commitment. 5 long, sad, and miserable days later, we realized how much we needed each other and got back together and the rest is history.

Sometimes you don't know you're ready until you do. Sometimes it takes something drastic to know precisely how you feel. Love hearing about your happy ending
