The mystery is who sat through trump’s Econ classes and took his exams for him. I wonder if it was the same person who sat through his English, history, science, and business classes.

There are 26 family soybean farms I've seen ( so far) IN MY TOWNSHIP alone that abandoned crops this year. It would have cost more to harvest than they could get from the crops. These peoples entire season; and a great crop; lost ....

I talked with local farmers about this back in May. Every last one of them said, "Trump promised to take care of us. Wait and see."
-
So they were expecting a handout? Or did they think this was not going to happen?
-
In May they'd expect Trump to "deal" the Chinese into backing down; later they'd expect his industry bail-out. BUT these crops left in the field: they belong to actual farmers? or to production contract owners?
-
I live in a small rural county, and I talked with small family farmers. They weren't aware that the help Trump promised only went to the large-scale "production" farms. In fact, they're still on the Trump train waiting for their "soybean money."

Socialism is money paid to other people.

What the rural socialists would call “welfare” if the $$$ were directed elsewhere
