Stan always gave me hope. He poured a lot of his wisdom into Silver Surfer. Re-reading those early original lines from Norrin Raad,we can understand how the Marvel universe became so full of diversity and was accepting of so many different cultures and personalities. Excelsior!

I never got to meet him, but his Spider-Man taught me how to be strong when I was feeling weak, to do the right thing even when no one is looking, and the little things are what bring brightness to peoples’ lives. And humor conquers everything, especially fear.

Stan always stood up for the little guy. I never got to meet him in real life, but through his comics, he taught me how to stand up for myself.

If you look closely at this picture, you can see Stan and Sir Paul McCartney were at the Super Bowl – Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014, to be exact. We wonder if "Magneto and Titanium Man" came up in conversation?
