  1. 55 years ago today, Wally and Stafford lifted off on Gemini VI-A. They would go on to perform the first-ever rendezvous of two spacecrafts in orbit. Their efforts to advance our nation's space program will forever live on in future missions.

Life is a gift, and none of us have any guarantees about tomorrow. So don’t miss the opportunity to tell your friends and family how much they mean to you. Take the time to make that phone call just to say hello, or write that note of encouragement.

Neil and my first meal on the Moon included bacon (in squares), sugar cookie cubes, a fruit drink, and some coffee. It's not exactly an epic feast for a couple of guys about to make history, but when you're in space you have to make do with what you got.😁

One of the keys to a successful life in any field is learning to take responsibility for ourselves, rather than waiting for someone else to do something for us.
