Can “Abrahamic” be a thing?

The three major Abrahamic faiths ( there are others) share Abraham in common, and tons more, so I say yes, since that speaks directly to the historical evolution.

I have long agreed with how problematic the term "Judeo-Christian" is. It's meant to sound more inclusive than it actually is, suggests that Judaism is merely "Christianity-Lite", and implies that the speaker may never be accused of antisemitism no matter what they say or do.

When I've heard it used, it's always been in ref to The Book (The Hebrew Bible, Old Testament and New Testament), and of the relationships that exist between the two faiths by virtue of the writings contained within. Christianity is (IMO) derived from Judaism, so there's overlap.

Might I suggest you read the thread again?

SO agree - how can we stop this tendentious term being used as common political coinage? At least the Judeo bit can repudiate it
-
A teacher of the Judeo bit wrote the thread, which you could read and amplify to educate folks as a first step? Speak out when you see the phrase being used to educate others?
