With the legislative powers blocking themselves (partisanship, filibuster, etc.), the president and the courts naturally get more power, because someone needs to solve new problems. Unblock the legislatures.
Wonderful news! Strengthening democracy in America must be done if we plan to save our country from authoritarianism. It's a structural change that's needed, a structure that promotes our free and fair elections.
