If this is true, it's ridiculous. Biden should not make his preferences on this known at all. It's not up to him. Plus, he's wrong on the practical impact, at least as his views are described in this article.https://twitter.com/ryanstruyk/status/1347332341535014913 …

CNN: President-elect Joe Biden has no appetite for opening an impeachment proceeding against Trump, people familiar with the matter said Thursday night, as he prefers to keep his focus on taking office in less than two weeks. http://www.cnn.com/2021/01/07/politics/house-democrats-impeachment-plans/index.html …

He is making the SAME MISTAKE that Barack Obama made not going after the banks and never helping homeowners who lost their homes. This is a deaf ear here, and to be honest, this has nothing to do with BIDEN, this work is for the congress.

Nope. The president doesn’t direct or do the impeachment. It’s Congress. There are already multiple referrals written up.

That's very Joe, though, to wish it away. It fits with his campaign theme of Trump as an "aberration."

I understand why he’d hesitate. And actually I think the better solution for the country is removal by the 25th.

Noted. The House can take that under advisement, but must immediately move forward with their business — defending this republic. Immediately they should file articles of impeachment.
