The Onion has just gotten too good lately. Please don't change your staff.

If you hadn't heard, a while back, the Onion staff unionized. That's why the onion got so much better.
-
And also why they're not likely to change staff any time soon.

-
Kinda amazing, how things work out when people group up and support each other :p

Actually, if you do some more research, you'll find this is truth vs satire. Lewinsky's own mother found out she was having an affair w/ the press secretary and said, Forget him, "go after the President." There are predatory women, & she was one.
-
She was in her 20's and an intern. He was a late 40's/50 something POTUS. Implying that they we're "equals" with even distribution of power is shortsighted.
-
You don't think older men are susceptible to flattery and sexuality being beamed at them by a much-younger woman? I kinda do. Certainly I wish he'd quashed the impulse, but, well, stuff happened.
-
Of course, and I don't disagree. We're all susceptible to temptation. With that said, with great power comes great responsibility. If POTUS is that weak, he shouldn't have been POTUS. And yes, am fully aware of the flood gates this statement opens. Face value.

If she had been wearing a burka, none of this would have happened.

He blames her for giving the goods to Military industrial complex to make him bomb Eastern Europe to save his job instead of giving the opportunity to give away social security fund to his Wall Street friends while left was sleeping falsely believing their friend was in the WH

Clinton asked for a BJ and Monica first said she wouldn't stoop so low. So he said he'd stand on a chair.
-
I think we can leave those jokes out of it. I feel bad in retrospect about things I said abt Monica. Glad I wasn't on social media. Why not joke about the objectively awful Linda Tripp?Linda Tripp says Monica was "lacking a moral compass." Oh, wait, that's an actual 2017 quote.
-
I've joked about everything, including Linda Tripp and Lucianne Goldberg who are both truly vile people. What Clinton did was terrible but the media are suddenly spending time demanding his meal culpas for the past rather than covering the immigrant kids or Puerto Rican deaths.
-
Exactly. And feminists did not cover ourselves in glory at the time, which many have acknowledged. I just wish we could leave Monica out of it. She got the worst of it, but she's doing really well now, and I appreciate her work against bullying.
-
I'm finishing a novella about bullying and other kids' issues that a CNN Hero and several foundations have offered to promote around the country, so understand her perspective.
-
That's great! We've come a long way from "Just ignore them and they'll stop," which didn't work even before social media. I was terribly bullied at school, but at least when I got home each day it was over. I can't imagine what it's like to have it follow you everywhere. /cont.
