But as someone who watches a lot of video content on the internet I quickly found it damn near impossible to continue supporting the creators I love without watching things on YouTube.

It even got me thinking about Alphabet/Google as a whole more. I already jumped ship on Google Music and am taking a good hard look at continuing to use Android, Gmail, Drive, Photos and even Google Fi.

Corporations are obviously not our friends but if they aren't willing take the most basic steps to protect marginalized communities - while using Pride month as a marketing opportunity - they can go fuck themselves.

We have seen deplatforming work. This conceit that tech companies be seen as anti-conservative biases is pure bad-faith manipulation and I don't in any way understand why or how they continue to legitimize that point of view. Don't let the bigots twist and control the narrative.
