To prevent spammers, impersonators, and other bad actors from harming and taking advertising revenue from inspiring and original creators. We know this update affects many channels but believe it’s necessary to protect our community.
Way to sign YouTube's death warrant by discouraging small channels with a higher bar. If they can't get noticed here, they'll go somewhere else. It's understandable to want fake creators to not be cycling around, but if it hurts real creators, then the solution is the problem.
