We all have our triggers. . . being told what to do is a BIG one for me. I can hardly explain the uncomfortable RUSH of adrenaline when someone "gives me an order" . . . if you boss me around I will avoid you for self preservation. Is that PDA? #actuallyautistic
Holy crap, I never even knew about PDA, but now that I've heard of it, I'm sure it's a comorbidity of my autism. I generally react badly anytime someone, even a colleague or loved one, demands something of me versus phrasing it as more of a request. Even if it's 100% reasonable.
