I have spent the past 20 minutes trying to figure out how to tell the NPC, okay bro, it's fine, you can land. He has not. He has instead proceeded to dakka the living shit out of all of my enemies.

I have encountered the most hilariously game-breaking bug in Far Cry 5. I got into a helicopter while having a hired gun along with me, then tried getting out of the helicopter. Said hired gun has proceeded to pilot the gun-equipped helicopter for me.

I'll call him Ivan, because I don't remember his in-game name. I had a mission to destroy this massively armored semi truck driving around the map - even proximity mines and remote explosives did nothing against the truck. But Ivan was there. Ivan blew the fuck out of that truck.
