Then they push that button, they push it over and over again, as often and as hard as they can, in order to try to get you even more ostracized than you already are. Because psychopaths and sociopaths don't magically become so in adulthood. But it's uncomfortable to admit that.

And to tie it back into the original premise: it's equally uncomfortable to admit that WE'RE not the people who go and shoot up schools. We're the people who go home and quietly hang ourselves, or shoot ourselves with our parents' guns, in sorrow and hopelessness.
