I use
#aspiegirl to describe my daughter online only because it is more a sweetie- pie kind of name. I could just as well have said#autigirl or sweetpea.1 vastaus 0 uudelleentwiittausta 3 tykkäystä -

I didn't know about the term
#autigirl . My son is autistic so is valid to say#autiboy also?#AskingAutistics I use#autistic and#neurodivergent. Never#Aspie . I don't like the division between them#AutisticCommunities1 vastaus 1 uudelleentwiittaus 7 tykkäystä -

#ActuallyAutistic and who went through a hellish childhood while we tried to figure out what was "wrong" with me until I was finally diagnosed at age 12, why the need to highlight your son's disorder at all, other than when requesting reasonable accommodation?1 vastaus 0 uudelleentwiittausta 2 tykkäystä -

As reference, I am not diagnosed
#ASD, but have many traits: highly sensitive to auditory and light (SPD), unbearably honest, social phobia, eccentric/divergent thinking, very quiet as a child, had to “train” myself about social expectations...#autistic#autism1 vastaus 0 uudelleentwiittausta 1 tykkäys -

I try to be respectful with what I put online about my daughter that it isn’t shame or guilt inducing. It should always be something I would not mind said about me.
