For those of you in the US, let me share with you my experience in buying my monthly medication here in Sweden. In case you're curious, I take two daily meds to treat my autism spectrum disorder - Aripiprazole ("Abilify"), and Sertraline ("Zoloft").

I pay for my meds - usually the equivalent of about $10-$20 or so - and go on my merry way. Basically, the US's pharmacies' dogged insistence on buying bulk medication is a gross inconvenience to all of us who simply want to pick up our medication and get on with our lives.

Just to clarify, I spent the first 28 years of my life in the US, moved to Sweden in November 2013, and have been on this medication for about 15 years now. So I'm not just some judgmental foreigner basing his opinions on hearsay. This is my unvarnished, first-hand experience.
