That's part of the problem, I'm currently doing my homework to try to make the Emscripten build of MAME a bit more performant. That's what I was going to do this evening, then I discovered Staxel, and now the rest of my weeknights are booked solid.

I could never bring myself to embrace Emscripten, but I know it’s a necessary evil when you’ve already got a huge code base. Some day we’ll have great WebAssembly tools and it will all be moot.
