I was going to work on MAME's BGFX backend tonight, but in the intervening 3 years since last looking at it, someone else decided to litter my code with "auto". I will still work on it, but more petulantly than before.

Being able to remove all those stl typedefs I had to use made parts of our codebase much easier to read. I would never use auto as a place holder for basic types.
