I'd like to think that one of the intended life lessons in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure is that everyone can learn, you just need to find the right way to teach them.

(I totally agree with you about learning styles - but if we're taking lessons from William S Preston Esq and Theodore Logan) If only early school actually filtered students into streams based on this somehow. Many folks' lives would be quite different.
