Question for any parents: Is 5 years old a reasonable age to start trying to teach a kid to cover their mouth when they cough? Especially when they've clearly been sick, based on how 'wet' my nephew-in-law's coughs were sounding?

Aaaand we're up to 39.6C / 103.2F. If it hits 104.5, I'm heading to the hospital.

I'm also wearing 3 layers of shirts and have a space heater going, because I was getting really bad chills through my whole body. Should I be doing the opposite - opening windows, turning off the space heater, etc.?

I would say to teach them as soon as they're capable of understanding, which I imagine most children would before hitting 5.

Yes, if I was taught to read by like something like the age of 4 (some kids earlier than that), manners/good hygiene can be taught when they're very young
