I think I've asked this before, but what is it with funk songs having lyrics that are waaaaaay inappropes when taken out of context? Average White Band's "Cut the Cake" is a phenomenal song, but holy schnikies are its lyrics the exact wrong things to say to the person you love!
I mean, a data point of exactly one, here, but if my partner started telling me that my "cake tastes so good" and to "not pass it all around", I'd wonder if the guy had recently suffered a severe blow to the head.
