Some have expressed dismay at the proverbial skin the LCD-handheld dumping effort's getting versus other equally-important emulation tasks. I sympathize. I'd like to see everything equally valued too. But I prefer to play the cards I'm dealt, not argue they should be different.

Of course this only applies to things people choose to be part of, like emulation. If you were dealt a shit hand by having the temerity to be born disabled, or non cisgender, or any number of things, argue the living hell out of those cards. Make noise. Make a shitload of it!
Make noise, argue, and fight to get the equal treatment that you damn well deserve as a person! Because it's a screwed-up world, and as important as digital preservation is, people being able to live a happy, fulfilling, drama and prejudice-free life is WAY more important.
