It then occurred to me - it's right there in its name. Game & WATCH. You don't wear it on your wrist, but then again "Game & Clock" is kind of a shitty name.

Having never had a Game & Watch before, I was confused yesterday when I put the batteries in, the thing came to life, and I was unable to find a power switch. Confused, I turned to IRC. Then someone pointed out the obvious: It has a clock. A power switch would defeat the purpose.

It also explains so much - like why the single-screen ones have a little kickstand. They're basically travel companions. They're meant to work as an alarm clock *plus* a game.
