I've been upbeat lately, but some friends and I were discussing handwriting, and I was reminded of something that happened in 3rd grade. Trigger warning: I will most likely use some profanity, and an unkind term for women. I harbor no ill will towards all women, just this one.

In 3rd grade, we had a spelling test. Even then, I took pride in spelling things correctly. One of the words that we had to spell was "future". I spelled it then exactly as I am spelling it now.

It was marked wrong. I demanded to know why she had marked it wrong, "Those aren't Us," she said, "those are Vs." Even at 8 years old, I remember asking incredulously, "What kind of idiot would spell it 'fvtvre'? That's not even a word." Nope, still wrong.

This is just one of many instances of her treating her students like shit. Fuck you, Mrs. Cook, I hope you died a slow and horrible death, because unless you used the misery you sowed among children to extend your life, you were old enough that you're most likely dead now.

I hope you're burning in hell, Mrs. Cook, because you're exactly the kind of bitch who should never have been let within 10 meters of a child, let alone have become a teacher.
