Third only to how bad their search is and how bad they messed up @-mentions the easiest thing @SlackHQ could do to improve their product is make the channel title more useful. It's where we often answer FAQs but no one ever reads them because the UI doesn't incentivize it.

At work we have a channel dedicated to coworker feedback about the game, and we ask that folks keep replies to a given piece of feedback in a thread, to avoid clutter, so fortunately we don't need collapsible threads. Attachments in threads, though...
Also, I never said the threads feature was great, I was just trying not to crap on the feature outright, for the sake of diplomacy. Overall, Slack is a great product, and on the off chance they read our gripes, I don't want to insult its devs.

We're currently looking into making improvements to threads, including fixing the currently not-great files situation. We also have lots of plans for search. Anything specific you'd like to see there? -
I'd be absolutely ecstatic if I could post attachments in threads. Where I work, it comes up often where we're discussing a side topic in a thread, but then have to post a screenshot or crash log in the main channel instead of the thread. Thank you so much for the reply! :)
