Third only to how bad their search is and how bad they messed up @-mentions the easiest thing @SlackHQ could do to improve their product is make the channel title more useful. It's where we often answer FAQs but no one ever reads them because the UI doesn't incentivize it.
But first, they should add support for putting attachments in threads, and make the behavior of replying to a message with an attachment more like the behavior when replying to a regular message. Please. Pretty please. With sugar on top.

Implying Slack Threads are anything but terrible? I on principle very rarely use them. Slack threads should've been collapsible indented out regular chat. To be clear slack is a great product, but slack threads (and search) are not.

At work we have a channel dedicated to coworker feedback about the game, and we ask that folks keep replies to a given piece of feedback in a thread, to avoid clutter, so fortunately we don't need collapsible threads. Attachments in threads, though...
