One thing nobody tells you about living in Florida are the little lizards that are EVERYWHERE. Everyone just sort of takes them for granted.

Now, I grew up in western New York state. Then I spent my teenage years in eastern Tennessee. You don't encounter cute little lizards there.
If you do, they're in a terrarium. So imagine my surprise when I'm 19, I move on my own to Florida, and there are lizards EVERYWHERE!

Little 10-14cm things, sunning themselves on the sidewalks, skittering off into the grass as you walk by. Chilling on brick walls of houses.

Now, I'm not afraid of lizards. I think they're adorable. But I had no idea about these cute little buggers until I moved there!
