(1/?) Proprioception is weird. My left hand + forearm were in a cast for 10 days, which came off this morning. I have some observations.

(9/?) My opening the door wasn't weird, but the fact that I did it with just my thumb and forefinger, other 3 fingers hanging limply, *is*.
(10/10) I'm just amazed at how quickly the human mind can adapt to a new physical situation. And then get 'stuck' in that mode.

I guess eventually you'll get used to having your entire hand back.

yup! had a friend that got his right hand in a cast, had to write with his left hand, and kept at it after the cast. too hard to go back
