(1/?) Proprioception is weird. My left hand + forearm were in a cast for 10 days, which came off this morning. I have some observations.

(8/?) I've was gesturing with just my thumb and forefinger on my left hand. I opened a door between the kitchen and the office area.
(9/?) My opening the door wasn't weird, but the fact that I did it with just my thumb and forefinger, other 3 fingers hanging limply, *is*.

(10/10) I'm just amazed at how quickly the human mind can adapt to a new physical situation. And then get 'stuck' in that mode.

I guess eventually you'll get used to having your entire hand back.
