(1/?) Proprioception is weird. My left hand + forearm were in a cast for 10 days, which came off this morning. I have some observations.

(3/?) About 5 days into it, I remember telling a friend that I couldn't really think of any of the 3 fingers individually, just as a "club".
(4/?) Two nights ago, my partner observed that I seemed to be a lot more comfortable working with just my left index finger and thumb.

(5/?) This morning, since it was just a plaster splint and mostly fabric, I cut off the cast as the doctor advised I could. It was *weird*.

(6/?) Initially, it *hurt*, having all the muscles and tendons come back online, so to speak. Other than some limited range of motion, A-OK.
