So I asked the hiring manager, "So, Patrik, I know we've talked about my work on MAME; what's the company policy on work in my off-hours?"
He goes (and I'm paraphrasing), "If it doesn't affect your ability to work for us, we don't care what you do in your time."

"A few of our engineers are even working on a game to sell. As long as you're not pulling all-nighters and missing work, we don't care."

To which I gave the only logical response: "Where do I sign?!"
