Anyway, I'd totally suggest buying a shipping container instead of renting. BUY, DO NOT RENT.

I only finally bought a place here, in Sweden, 2 years ago at age 29. It did not make sense for me to buy prior to that point.
If I had followed my mom's admonishments to buy a house, back before the bubble burst, I would have been fuuuuuuuuucked when I got laid off.

Buying a shipping container (or couch, or other non-home items) is different than a home situation.

Oh believe me, if I didn't have a partner and was living the bachelor life, I'd rock the hell out of a shipping container.
