So I'm planning on buying Clarke's 2001/2010/2061/3001, and Crichton's Jurassic Park. Any other book suggestions, while I'm at it? Anyone?

Very, err, "brainy" writing for lack of a better word. I like it, but it's an acquired taste. Later works have more story
"brainy" isn't a killing word for literature, in my opinion. How "brainy"? Like, Michael Crichton, digress-into-relevant-real-info brainy?

Brainy as in he couldn't write people or stories, but he's extremely good at problem resolution and logic
