Cool! How many of those positions will end up laid off when any given EA studio has a slightly off-target quarter?
Not to single out EA, mind you, this is a problem that's rampant in the industry.

Thanks to the Frostbite focus of EA, devs in different studios help out on different games, to avoid the boom and bust cycle.

So, instead of laying off people when a project winds down, devs can help on DICE/Bioware/Sport title projects. We at EA have gotten better
