Indeed. I'd like to see I'm an amazing programmer, but my experience would indicate I'm someone who speicalizes in garbage :P

Which isn't to say my skillset isn't useful. A lot of companies could use engineers willing to deal with trash code.

I have had a similar problem in my career. We don't get to choose what we work on, but some judge us as if we did choose it.
