They COULD script it so that even in a private session, enemy NPCs attack your businesses or your MC. But they don't. Because they're lazy.
I love how Rockstar have made the lion's share of GTA V updates public-session-only. Really high bar of quality there, guys.

how many players play GTA Online in private session ? Not much. Then there'r already NPCs who attack ur MC while ur in mission

I always try to play in invite-only sessions. It beats being blown up every 30 seconds by a hacking teen screeching "cyka blyat".
