A bit bvious but know whats fast for data lookup? Array of data indexed by minimal perfect hash w/ prehashed keys. Aka array lookup. #sofast
Sounds about right, plus in most use cases you can get away with CRC32, since Nehalem is pretty old nowadays :)

Funny :P I was talking about the keys being validated and hashed at tool time or cook time, so runtime was known array index.
