@themogminer sure it is wise to take away all runtime rendering for 1.8? seems odd to rely entirely on VBO and JSON

@Rosespikes VBs are standard for games from the past ten years. JSON is just the on-disk format, it's parsed at startup, not runtime.

@TheMogMiner I mean you HAVE seen the amount of mods out there with cables and such right? you want them to bake every permutation of cable?

@Rosespikes Yes - for models that are identical apart from rotation, the same model can be referenced from the state definition.
