TFW you're not exactly conversational in French, but know exactly enough to get pissed off at the awful quality of the subtitles in Wasabi and Banlieue 13
It even results in losing half the comedic value of Hubert (implied by a camera cut, not shown) punching out a baggage-checker at the Tokyo airport, who sarcastically asks him "Heyyyy, où est le feuuuuu ?" when he expresses disdain at being delayed.

The whole point of it is that, yeah, if in the span of 24 hours you've found out that the only person you've loved has died, and is about to be cremated, you might get a bit pissed off at people asking "Hey, where's the fire?" But it's totally lost by the default subtitles.
