It's the absolute stupidest, most unnecessary thing to exist. I suppose the only benefit is that it's quicker to update pricing maybe? But that just doesn't seem worth it lmao.
Imagine if we had a material that could have a tinted fluid embedded in it by some other device. Perhaps we could call the material something we've never heard of before, "pappy", "pap per", something like that? And since the other thing'd be named similarly, "pan"? "pen"?

This is a really interesting concept, but what could it be called? "electronic paint"? "electronic ink"? "e-Ink"? That could never work.
