I was there only a couple years after the very beginning. And as much as I adore folks like you, folks like
@slowbeef and folks like@Hbomberguy for their modern content, that appreciation is tempered by the prejudicial fuck-fest that those forums have always been.
The simple reality is that when you have a set of forums that revolves around pointing and laughing at people, eventually it will eat its own, and so too did the person who Helldumped me get himself Helldumped. But at the end of the day, that history is still not all cool.

So quite honestly, I resent the modern white-washing of the forums, particularly since as you rightly point out, Melia, although they're making some good decisions, it's still a platform for people who are objectively bigger pieces of shit than the ones they claim to laugh at.

If you're a furry, transgender, or anything outside of the neurotypical, cisgender, straight-white-male beaten path and still participate there, then just be wary, because eventually they'll come for you, too, because that's how this shit works.
