(Thread) A tip for anyone just starting out in the game industry: Don't fall into the psychological trap of adopting an "us vs. them" mentality towards QA. You can tell a lot about a developer by how they interact with the testing team, and what value they place there.
To be fair, it's more a matter of not knowing the development process for Cyberpunk 2077. A former coworker used to work at CDPR. Being informed from an insider's view, it was clear that management forced the game out before it was ready, it wasn't QA sitting on their hands.

All the same, you're 100% correct in that it's the difference between a solid game that makes an enormous impact, and a game that makes an enormous impact for all of the wrong reasons.
