@tschak Depending on how pressed for time you are on your Sun4 presentation, you can revert src/devices/machine/sun4c_mmu.h+.cpp, and src/mame/drivers/sun4.cpp, back to the 18 November 2019 versions. You'll have to re-do some API changes made in the intervening 2 years though.
But after doing that, you should wind up with a sun4c (sun4_40 ideally, since it has integrated bwtwo, I think) that you can install SunOS 4.1.1 onto.
Noted. I've managed to get a working sun4m via qemu for now. I will revisit mame for sparc later. I am still in a less than ideal situation for sun2/sun3 support as mame doesn't have disk for those, and TME is so bad in terms of performance.
