Just started playing Kynseed. 21 minutes in and I'm already hooked. The pixel art is phenomenal, the soundtrack is calming, and the writing has a biting wit. The full-screen UI menus are what I might characterize as "janky", but granted, it's still Early Access.

So far so good! One UI/UX thing - it's not entirely clear to me how to get paid after my first-day task of unlocking the map. I went to bed with 0 Brass, and I now have the 3 granted for my day-two task, but where'd the 1 for unlocking the map go?

Player discovery is a great thing. Uncle Bill did tell you...he will be offended you didn't listen to him ;-)

That may well have been the one Uncle Bill message that I inadvertently buttoned through while I was still getting used to kbd/m controls. But hey, I discovered it regardless! ;-)
