No idea why he might have blocked you, but as someone who blocks freely and with wild abandon, I will just point out that there's a world of difference between "I am sensitive and easily upset" and "I have no interest in hearing from this random internet person ever again".
Funny that Jason "textfiles" Scott has me blocked, so much for him being "one of the more rhino-skinned people out there", according to him in one of his talks.
