It kinda gives me an existential crisis that I have some serious professionals in gaming and even famous people following me, and I... I don't what to do with that? Like, why? This is some weird stuff going on. Like, "oh hey, no big deal I got this" *sweats profusely* 
Echoing the rest: You have interesting stuff to say and do it in an interesting way. With exceptions, famous people are still just people. If we (usually correctly) assume the ego hounds aren't going out and following folks, it's just good peeps following a good person.
