figuring out the vendor-specific commands for devices without having access to internal docs will be difficult, and it can change with different firmware in the same drive. this is another big documentation project for MAME since no one else seems to be taking on RE dev firmware
I would love to know if anyone has ever nailed down all of the vendor-specific commands from the Rodime 650 series of SCSI hard drives. This one machine really seems to want to issue command 0xC2 for some reason.

It's funny you should mention that. The Rodime 652, at least, uses an 8031 as its on-board controller, and the ROM was just dumped earlier today. So I'll see what I can see.
