Sure, but the discussion wasn't even about 'better', it was an article stating that the NES uses a 6502. No matter how much the commenters on HaD want to defend their god-emperor Lewin Day, it just doesn't. It uses the 6502 *architecture* as part of a larger SoC.

Swapping out one acronym, "CPU", for one word, "architecture", is all it'd take, but that's just too big of an ask. It would be like describing a machine with an i9 as using "the same CPU" as a Ryzen. It just doesn't. They both use the x64 ISA, but the devil is in the details.
