I don't understand videogame speedruns. I just don't see the joy in it, repeating one thing over and over and over, for hours, for days
I don't understand a lot of things that people do that they consider fun, or what gives them pleasure. Good for them for enjoying what they do.

Well sure, I didn't pretend to severely judge speedrunners
I only wanted to state that a videogame is like a movie to me, a thing that can be enjoyed once. The joy in the entropy, letting the plot surprise you, etc. can be experienced only once -
Perhaps I'm the strange one here, but I enjoy viewing movies multiple times as well. I rarely, if ever, catch everything interesting in a movie on the first viewing. If you do, though, that's great.
