Speaking for my co-workers and I at Arrowhead, we've got your back. Preferred nomenclature is "shipping implementation". Even with English as my first language, I've had to catch myself a couple of times, but it costs me nothing to be kind and use less charged terminology.

Beyond all that, it's typically an incorrect application of the term when it comes to development anyway. Very little ends up being truly final, but it can meet shipping criteria in a satisfactory manner.
