A coworker is planning a surströmming party, looks like next weekend rather than this one. I personally want to go, as I want to try it. I've been here for 7 years and never tried it, which seems wrong. For those Swedes who've tried it in a legit setting, any pointers?
Note that when I say "a legit setting", I mean an actual traditional setup. I'm well aware that all of the YT vids of people stabbing open a can in open air are bullshit, as you're supposed to open the can underwater, and not eat it plain.
